Home Collective looks a little different, and we think you’re going to love it. We’ve been busy behind the scenes refreshing our space with some exciting new displays: a hero kitchen that stops you in your tracks, a laundry that makes the least glamorous room in the house feel genuinely considered, and for the first time ever at our place, a mudroom.
The Mudroom
If you’ve been considering a mudroom in your new home, this display will seal the deal. It’s the room that holds a busy life together: the drop zone for school bags, the spot for wet jackets, the place where everything has a home so the rest of the house stays calm.
Inspired by modern European design, our mudroom is all about making the chaos of everyday life feel effortlessly organised. Overhead cabinets, deep drawers, tall cabinetry for hanging coats, open shelving, and hooks that actually get used. It is the kind of storage that works as hard as your family does, wrapped in finishes that make it feel genuinely beautiful rather than purely functional.
The cabinetry in Polytec’s Rubra Oak in the Vista Door profile brings warmth and a heritage influence that feels timeless rather than trend-driven. Contrasted with Black Woodmatt floating shelves and bench seat, and finished with black stained timber D-handles and Milli robe hooks in black, it is a space that feels considered from every angle. Dramatic without being loud. The kind of room you’ll be glad you included.
The Laundry
We’ll be the first to say it: the laundry doesn’t always get the love it deserves. This one does.
Inspired by the warmth of a farmhouse aesthetic with a contemporary edge, this laundry is practical, beautiful, and genuinely worth spending time in. The cabinetry draws from the Polytec Essence range, with Lightstone Matt overheads and Wispwood Matt base cabinets creating a palette that feels warm and easy to live with. The benchtop and splashback are both in Sahara Swirl from Stone Ambassador, a soft, natural stone look that ties the whole space together.
The hero piece is the Memo Harper Fluted Single Bowl Butler Sink in fireclay white from Reece, finished with a Roca Ona Gooseneck mixer. It’s the kind of sink that makes you feel better about doing the washing. The tiling is from Beaumont Tiles, the Tuscano range brings just enough interest without competing with everything else.
Storage is everywhere: overhead cabinets, base cabinets, a linen cupboard, a hanging rail for clothes, and a built-in laundry basket. The Fisher and Paykel Series 9 washer and dryer complete the picture, because a great laundry is as much about the appliances as the aesthetics.
The Hero Kitchen
If there is one update that will stop you mid-step, it’s this one.
Inspired by the natural elegance of travertine and limestone, this kitchen has been designed to feel like an architectural moment as much as a functional space. The hero of the whole design is the Basilica Linen finger mosaic tile from Beaumont Tiles, used on the island. The vertical lines wrap around the curves of the island in a way that adds depth, texture, and a sense of craftsmanship that is hard to put into words and even harder to fully appreciate in a photo.
The Naica benchtop from Stone Ambassador is soft, veined, and pairs beautifully with the Amaro Smooth Thermo cabinetry in the Casino profile. The detail continues in the sink, a Memo Harper double bowl inset in fireclay white from Reece, finished with a Milli Etch gooseneck mixer and bronze plug and waste that add warmth without overpowering the overall palette. Black ledge handles complete the look with a quiet confidence that ties the whole kitchen together.
The Suppliers Behind It All
None of this happens without the exceptional brands and suppliers that bring Home Collective to life. These displays are a showcase of the very best from Beaumont Tiles, Stone Ambassador, Polytec, Reece, Fisher and Paykel, and The Maker Designer Kitchens. Seeing these spaces in person lets you appreciate the quality, the finishes, and the details in a way that photos simply can’t replicate.
Come and see it for yourself at Home Collective in Leederville. You don’t have to be a client to walk through the doors. Take your time, touch the surfaces, open the drawers, and let it spark some ideas for your own home.
We’d love to see you.
