How Karina and Tom found their home at Home Collective
Building a home isn’t just about bricks and mortar, it’s about feeling supported, understood, and inspired. When Karina and Tom chose Celebration Homes to build their dream home, they discovered that Home Collective was the perfect place to begin their home building journey.
A warm welcome
“It’s like walking into your dream everything. It’s like being brought into a big hug.” – That’s how Karina described her very first visit to Home Collective. “It’s so welcoming and everything is so beautiful.”
She wasn’t sure what to expect, but quickly felt at ease: “The people are so friendly and nice, they look after you.” Nothing was ever fobbed off – if they asked a question or wanted something customised, the expert team simply asked, “What do you need? What’s important to you?” For Karina, this supportive, attentive approach made Home Collective feel like her “happy place”, and Tom agreed, saying, “I would say Karina was almost in a Disneyland moment”.
Bringing their vision to life
Inspiration flowed once the couple stepped into Home Collective. They arrived with a colour palette and an overall feel in mind, but being able to see and touch the selections brought their vision to life. What really made the difference was working with Scott, one of our Selections Consultants, who offered expert advice every step of the way.
“Scott was so good – matching up colours, matching up designs of appliances, tapware, matching up things like pavers out the front and how they’d look with the house”, they shared.
The 3D modelling brought their ideas to life, showing them exactly how the house would come together. They gained a clear vision and the confidence to personalise key areas like their kitchen, with Karina saying, “Those final details of what it would be like, the customisation was really amazing.”
Inspiration, anytime
Building with us comes with perks – including exclusive events – and Karina and Tom made the most of every opportunity, saying they, “attended as many as we could”. Two events that really stuck with them were the Interiors Open Day with Kyal and Kara and Colour by Wattyl Open Day with Neale Whitaker. “Hearing from experts was so good and helped us really cement what we wanted our home to feel like”, they said.
But events aren’t the only time you can visit Home Collective – they loved being able to drop in whenever they wanted to double-check choices or explore new ideas. “Friendly staff, good advice, nice location too. It’s all beautifully presented, and they helped us with ideas too.” That mix of events and the ability to drop in whenever they liked gave them the confidence and inspiration to create a home that felt truly theirs.
