When Hannah pictured her new home, she envisioned an open space, with high ceilings and abundant natural light. So, she took her vision to Home Collective. The Design Brief
“The style that I went for was Modern Mediterranean. I feel like that’s quite timeless” says Hannah.
Blending classic elegance with contemporary touches, the home features arches, open spaces, earthy tones, and natural materials, creating a warm and elegant look.
Her vision was clear, and she was ready to bring it to life with the help of Home Collective.

“Through my selections, I chose a lot of those curved silhouettes with the arches, the curved wall, the rounded mirrors,” she shared.
To tie it all together, she opted for a white palette throughout, “having the white across the whole house was quite timeless for me because I knew that I would love that in years’ time”, Hannah said.
Kitchen must-haves
The kitchen is the heart of the home, and Hannah understood the importance of blending function with form in her design.
“My number one was an island bench. I’ve never had an island bench in a kitchen before, but I loved the idea that it was great for entertaining and for prepping meals”, she said.
She aimed for a sleek, minimalist look, opting for handle-less cabinetry, which harmonised beautifully with her tiling choice, stating that she, “enjoyed the kit-kat (tiling) kind of style, so I wanted that in the kitchen but also flowed through the bathrooms and laundry areas”.

With a predominantly white kitchen, she added a touch of contemporary flair with brass gold tapware throughout the kitchen and bathrooms. Hannah noted that the brass gold adds a “great pop to the kitchen, especially being all white. It really complimented the overall style for the house”.
Hannah‘s vision for her home came to life effortlessly, especially with the integration of an open plan kitchen dining living room design.
