Hi, I’m Mia – and I’m excited to help you on your building journey.

I grew up in Dunsborough, where my parents either built or renovated every house we lived in. This sparked my passion for design and inspired me to move to Perth to pursue a Diploma in Interior Design, eventually leading me to my role at Home Collective.

I’ve explored a few different career paths along the way – from a winery in Eagle Bay to an events company, and I even studied to be a flight attendant, earning a Certificate III in Aviation. But what really drives me is design, and there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing how excited clients get when they see their homes come together.

When I’m not at work, you’ll find me outdoors – exploring, camping, boating, and snorkelling. I’m currently loving neutral, earthy-toned tile trends with a bit of texture and my favourite interior style is Japandi/Wabi Sabi, with its earthy tones and raw materials.

My top tip for starting your building journey? Stay organised with your inspiration and ideas—it really helps everything come together smoothly. The best way to prepare for a consult is to have a selection of inspiration pictures ready.
