Hi, I’m Amba!

I am a Selections Consultant at Home Collective in Bunbury and have been working in the building industry for 10 years. For the past 5 years, I’ve been with Dale Alcock Homes South West, helping clients bring their dream homes to life and spent the previous 5 years in a similar Selections role.

I’m also a mum of two young kids and originally from Queensland. I moved to WA ten years ago and have loved calling it home ever since. When I’m not at work, you’ll find me outside with my family, running, or cheering on my husband at his football games. I’m also currently training for a marathon!

I’ve always had an interest in interiors, sparked by helping my family renovate houses when I was younger. I loved getting involved with painting and tiling, and now I’m often inspired by platforms like Pinterest and Instagram. I’m drawn to a luxe minimalist and modern industrial style, with darker, moodier spaces being my go-to. For me, less is more, and I think the finishing touches—like soft furnishings—can really transform a room, especially when you’re not afraid to embrace darker colours.

What really motivates me in my work is seeing the excitement on clients’ faces when their visions come to life. My tip for anyone starting their building journey? Make sure to budget for those finishing features—they’re the details that will make you fall in love with your home.
